Your Father’s Mustache Band hails from Denver, Colorado and originally began at the Your Father’s Mustache Nightclub, a popular downtown Denver night spot in the 1960’s-70’s. Several members of the current band met and played together at the club and have been making music together ever since. The band has changed faces since that time, and some musicians have left and returned again. The guys are all trained professional musicians through music schools and military bands, and several are music teachers. This is one of the most popular bands on the jazz scene, and they have been the “house band” at the Bull & Bush Restaurant and Brewpub in Denver for over 30 years.
